We have used Clear Water Concepts for over 25 years for our water softeners and reverse osmosis systems. They have always been wonderful to deal with and their technicians are highly skilled and competent. We have purchased systems for two homes and have had them perform service. Highly recommend!

Our technician Ari was personable and professional. He explained what he was doing and what the effect of his work was on our drinking water in very clear and understandable terms. We are grateful that he was the technician sent to us by Clear Water Concepts to service our RO system.

I have had my softener and reverse osmosis system for 5 years without complaint but this year another company talked me into using them for full house check up and filter changes which they require water leak detection under the sink for my protection when all was done they left and a couple hours later the alarm went off so they came back out and were not able to stop the leak so I had clear water concept who had installed the system they came out asap and couldn’t find the leak either but the leak stopped so not sure who fixed it but I’m glad I called them and going forward they will be back thank you clear water concepts

My RO system aged out, so I called Clearwater Concepts for a replacement. Hunter M. Was my service tech. He was prompt, courteous, and very professional. He answered all of my questions and cleaned up when completed. I was so pleased I had him update the system in my daughter's house. I've been a customer of clear Water for over 14 years now and have always been impressed with them. Highly recommend.

We had Clear Water Concepts install a whole home water softener and Reverse Osmosis system 3 years ago. They did a great job on the install! We have them come out annually for the system checkup and filter changes and the are always clean and quick. Ray came out today and he was a pleasure to chat with. He is very knowledgeable and gave me lots of good free advice and pointers. All in all I really like Clear Water Concepts for water treatment and plumbing work.

Common questions about reverse osmosis in Phoenix

How hard is the water in Phoenix?

Phoenix water hardness averages 15-20 GPG, sourced from srp/cap surface water blend. This is significantly harder than the national average of 6 GPG, meaning scale buildup, dry skin, and appliance damage are common without treatment.

Do you serve Phoenix?

Yes — Phoenix is within our Phoenix metro service area. Our nearest location is in Mesa. We offer free in-home water testing and same-week installation in most cases.

How much does a reverse osmosis system cost in Phoenix?

Reverse osmosis systems for Phoenix homes start at $795: Thirst RO Pure from $795, Thirst RO Restore from $895, Thirst RO Thrive from $995. Every system is backed by a 5-Year Part & Labor Warranty. Installation is quoted separately. Pair with a water softener and save $350 with our bundle deal. 0% APR financing for 9 months is available.

Do I still need reverse osmosis if I have a water softener?

Yes, for drinking water. A softener removes hardness so your pipes and appliances last, but it does not remove dissolved solids, chlorine, or other contaminants. Reverse osmosis handles the water you drink and cook with — most Phoenix homes pair both, and the bundle saves $350.

What does reverse osmosis remove from Phoenix water?

Phoenix tap water contains Chlorine, chloramines, high TDS. A Thirst RO system removes 90%+ of dissolved solids and contaminants, and the RO+ model adds alkaline remineralization for better-tasting water.

Where does a reverse osmosis system install?

Under the kitchen sink, with its own dedicated faucet at the counter. Installation is quoted separately for every RO system we sell in Phoenix.

How often do RO filters need to be changed in Phoenix?

Arizona's high dissolved-solids water works filters harder than the national average. Pre-filters are typically replaced yearly and the membrane every few years — we set a schedule based on your Phoenix water and household usage.

Do you offer financing on reverse osmosis systems in Phoenix?

Yes — 0% APR financing for 9 months applies to reverse osmosis systems installed in Phoenix, and pairing RO with a water softener saves $350.
