“We had our Sanitech water softener by Clear Water Concepts installed today. The technician, Zach Taylor, did a great job and explained everything. We are very happy.”

The Sanitech Pro-Line™ is Clear Water Concepts' industry-leading system, combining water softening and carbon filtration into a single integrated unit. Custom designed to CWC specifications for Arizona's extreme hard water conditions, it removes hardness minerals while simultaneously filtering chlorine, chloramines, sediment, and chemical contaminants. This dual-function approach means one system, one installation, and one point of maintenance — with the performance of two separate units.
The Sanitech Pro-Line uses a layered media bed that combines ion-exchange resin for softening with activated carbon for chemical filtration. Water passes through both media in a single tank, removing hardness minerals and filtering contaminants in one continuous process. The on-demand metered valve monitors consumption and regenerates only when needed, ensuring maximum efficiency with minimal salt and water use.
Hardness removal
Ion-exchange resin captures calcium and magnesium — the minerals responsible for scale buildup, water spots, and dry skin — replacing them with sodium ions.
Chemical filtration
Activated carbon media adsorbs chlorine, chloramines, pesticides, herbicides, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), improving taste, odor, and overall water quality throughout your home.
Metered regeneration
The microprocessor-controlled valve tracks usage and initiates regeneration at the optimal time, using soft water for a cleaner, more efficient backwash cycle.
Advanced Filtration Technology
This system uses Centaur catalytic carbon — a premium activated carbon that outperforms standard coconut shell carbon used by most competitors. It removes chlorine, chloramines, hydrogen sulfide, and organic compounds through catalytic reduction, not just adsorption.

Most Arizona homes need both softening and filtration — softening to protect plumbing and appliances from scale, and filtration to remove the chlorine and chemicals that cause dry skin, faded laundry, and unpleasant taste. The Sanitech delivers both in a single system at a price point significantly lower than buying separate softener and filter units. It's custom-configured by CWC for local water conditions, uses commercial-grade components that resist Arizona's aggressive water chemistry, and includes professional installation by our licensed technicians.
Arizona's municipal water supply is sourced from a combination of Colorado River water, Salt River Project reservoirs, and groundwater wells — each with different mineral profiles and treatment chemicals. The result is water that is both extremely hard (15–22 GPG) and heavily chlorinated. The Sanitech Pro-Line addresses both issues simultaneously: its high cross-link resin handles the extreme hardness without premature degradation, while the carbon media removes the elevated chlorine and chloramine levels that are common across Maricopa County.
