About the Thirst RO — Restore™ Alkaline System
The Thirst RO Restore adds a 5th alkaline remineralization stage to the proven RO purification platform. After removing 90%+ of dissolved solids, the Restore passes purified water through a mineral cartridge that reintroduces beneficial trace minerals and electrolytes — calcium, magnesium, and potassium — raising the pH to a healthy alkaline level. The result is drinking water that's both ultra-pure and mineral-enriched, with a smoother, more natural taste than standard RO water.
How It Works
6-stage purification with remineralization
The first five stages are identical to the Thirst RO Pure — sediment pre-filtration, carbon pre-filtration, RO membrane purification, and carbon polishing. The sixth stage adds an alkaline remineralization cartridge containing natural mineral media that dissolves trace amounts of calcium, magnesium, and potassium back into the purified water. This raises the pH from the slightly acidic range typical of RO water (6.0–6.5) to a balanced alkaline level (7.5–8.5).

Included on all RO installs, the FLOWLOK Leak Detector is an innovative device that installs right below your RO water filtration system. Once the safety disc has detected water it expands and trips the FLOWLOK safety lever to shut off the water entering the water filtration device. Safety discs are replaceable and are economical.
